Tony...my perspective...
I met Tony nearly 18 years ago now, after responding to a New Musical Express ad offering song production. Suffice to say, his 'vision' for The Fisherman
landed back on the doorstep and I was hooked.
We set-to, putting together an 'album' of songs that drew immediate interest from various A&R bodies including Dave Massey, then at Chrysalis Records, who particularly adhered to the 'sound'.
Truly gifted, Tony takes to music like a duck to water, has been tickling the ivories since the age of five, strapped on a guitar at ten...his skills are, quite frankly, phenomenal. Not too hard to believe then, that he works mighty wonders in the studio.
Tony's singer/songwriter talents sit alongside a wealth of music-business experience; years as lead guitarist for the popular French artist Julien Clerc; in the studio with household names including The Pet Shop Boys, Julian Lennon, Toyah; member and co-producer of the Simon Townshend Band; producer for alternative-folk artist Pat Orchard; and more recently promoting fresh and upcoming artists, and creating and developing Original projects at Tony Lowe Productions.
In sharing his vision for 'AOTA' - indeed I feel privileged to be on-board - I understand that in this life Tony believes himself to be first and foremost a teacher, especially in relation to spiritual and humanitarian issues.
